This post is meant as a continuous news update for the trade and industry on the latest news regarding COVID-19 (Corona Virus) and how it can and may affect businesses in the industry and the logistics chains we depend on.
Our current understanding is that while cargo transportation will not be directly banned, the airlines offering cargo services may very well limit those services as they will be unable to fill the passenger seats required to make those flights cost efficient. The flights will either continue flying with freight costs being increased exorbitantly, or the flights will be limited based on the ban on passenger travel.
There also has not been any clarification regarding indirect flights to the US, AKA flights with stop-overs.

President Trump announces a ban on all travel for people, trade and cargo for 30 days from the EU to the US beginning Friday 3/13 at Midnight. American citizen will be allowed to travel based on exemptions requiring pre-checks for sickness.
